Expertly crafted with a blend of traditional methods and western design, the Citori 825 Lariat Sporting is an over and under shotgun that is as impressive as it is functional.
The Lariat is a great representative of Browning over and under shotgun greatness. The receiver sets it apart from any other sporting clays shotgun on the market with an extensive Western-style scroll engraving that features hand-chiseled rope borders and horseshoes.
A gloss oil finish Grade III Turkish walnut stock is designed with a vertical grip and palm swell. This beautiful wood is protected by a premium gloss oil finish that accentuates the contrasting wood grain. Fine-line checkering and a semi-beavertail forearm with finger grooves are added to the stock and forearm for enhanced grip and swing.
The low-post, floating rib provides a more natural, head-down sight picture. The barrels are coated with a non-reflective matte blue finish.
Beyond the beauty, the Lariat is all Citori 825, the latest in the storied lineage of Browning over and under shotguns. Like the B25 and other Citori models, Citori 825 shotguns rely on the blueprint of the renowned full-width hinge and tapered locking lug design to provide maximum durability and unstoppable reliability for a shotgun that will outlast every other.
All of this strength is confined inside a low-profile receiver that offers advantages to the shooter, as well. The reduced height of the receiver lowers the bore line of the barrels to optimize swing and pointability, while also putting the barrels more in line with the shoulder to better control felt recoil and minimize muzzle jump for more accurate second shots.
The Fire Lite 2 is a refined version of the popular mechanical trigger from the Citori 725. It has been enhanced to offer even better performance and lighter pull weights than ever before. Dependability with extra light loads has also been improved.
